Both design directions use the same index to highlight the differences in visual style.

Personally, I wanted to choose Proposal B in order to maintain the hip-hop concept. However, since it felt as though the book would rely solely on illustrations, I ultimately decided to combine elements of both Proposal A and Proposal B.
